Dear Resident , Here’s a quick round up from me and the rest of the Springfield neighbourhood policing team. What’s been happening Warrant Officers have executed two warrants in relation to class A drug supply following your intelligence provided to officers. We will continue to follow up on intelligence supplied to us.E-Bike Enforcement Whilst out on foot patrol this week officers have seized an electric bike with a top speed of 28mph in Sparkhill Park. This far exceeds the legal limit and creates a danger to pedestrians and road users. We will be increasing our enforcement, particularly within the park to ensure park users can enjoy this wonderful space safely. More information on e-bikes can be found at What you need to know: electric bikes | West Midlands PoliceCuppa with a Copper I had the pleasure of joining PCSO Evans for his weekly ‘Cuppa with a Copper’ session last week. It was great to listen to some of the concerns from the community and we will act upon these. These sessions are held every Monday at St. John’s Church between 11am – 1pm so please join us if you can. Finally, A big thanks to Bosnia House who have kindly given us access to their building in order to allow local neighbourhood officers to base themselves within the heart of the community. Please note - This is not accessible to the community to speak to Police but should you wish to speak to the team please email us at springfield@westmidlands.police.uk or visit one of our public contact offices. The nearest being Stechford Police Station. We will be increasing our messaging from the team on WMNOW over the coming weeks alongside our X (formerly twitter) page @springfieldWMP |
